These beautiful floral paper eggs are so easy to make and give a gorgeous vintage look to your Easter decor.
You guys are NOT going to believe how easy this little Easter craft project is!
I’ll have you running to the scrapbook aisles of your local craft store.
Even if you’re not a scrapbooker!!
These little paper mache eggs turned out SO much cuter than I even imaged so I’m super excited to share this simple tutorial with you today.
I even made a quick video of the process that you can find at the end of this post.
All you need are two supplies!
Floral Paper Eggs Supplies:
You can find all sorts of rub-ons at your local craft store in the scrapbooking section.
Aim for images that are about the same size as your eggs.
I’m not even going to bother painting these eggs because I feel the paper mache leans towards a more vintage look which is just what I am going for.
Cut out the rub-on images that you want to use on the egg. Trim it down further as needed. It’s much easier to transfer a small image than a large one.
Use the Popsicle stick that comes with the rub-ons to transfer the image to the egg.
Rub firmly.
Once image is applied, go back over it again, rubbing on the plastic sheet, around all of the edges of the rub-on to be sure they are smooth.
Add all images to egg.
That’s it! SOOOO simple right??
I love the vintage vibe they give.
They pair so nicely with the natural moss, don’t you think?
If you want to see the entire process then check out the quick video tutorial I made for these DIY floral paper eggs.
