Create an easy fall farmhouse-style vignette in minutes with just a handful of supplies!
Fall is almost here, and I am ready for it!
Just after Labor Day I start getting all of my fall decor out in anticipation of the season.
I spent about 15 minutes putting together this fall farmhouse-style vignette that I can’t wait to decorate with this year.
I love that the farmhouse-style is all the rage still and achieving the farmhouse look really is not that difficult.
You just need to keep your eye out for a few specific-type items…
Fall Farmhouse-Style Vignette Supplies:
Faux foam pumpkin (affiliate link)
Galvanized planter or vase (affiliate link)
3 bushes of faux mums, different colors
Fall bush with varying stems
Fall ribbon, wired (affiliate link)
Embellishments (optional)
Anything galvanized will add instant farmhouse charm.
Also, this mint-colored pumpkin is the perfect shade for a soft farmhouse look.
Fall Farmhouse-Style Vignette: Galvanized Tin Arrangement
Wrap the fall ribbon around the galvanized planter and tie a pretty bow.
I found a gold “M” sticker at my local craft store in the scrapbooking section to add to the front of the planter.
Place the fall bush directly into the planter.
Trim the end if needed.
The fall bush I selected was plenty large enough to fill the entire planter without any extra stems or effort fluffing the bush.
So that’s it!
One part of the vignette is complete in just minutes!
Fall Farmhouse-Style Vignette: Pumpkin Vase
Trim the stems of the mums so they are only 3-4″ long.
You may choose to keep the leaves or not.
Press the ends of the stems into the top of the pumpkin.
Be sure not to squeeze the mums too closely together.
The blooms like to spread out.
Do not press them all the way into the pumpkin, leave them sticking out a bit so it looks like flowers arranged in a vase.
Now we have an instant pumpkin vase that took no more than 10 minutes to create!
Pair the the planter and pumpkin vase together on a table and arrange small gourds around them.
The soft mint pumpkin paired with the slightly weathered-looking galvanized planter add an instant fall farmhouse feel to the decor.
Will you try to create this fall farmhouse-style vignette?

Michele, this vignette is beautiful, and easy enough even for someone non-crafty like me! Thank you for sharing, and for being a part of the Hearth and Soul Link Party. I’m featuring this post at the party this week. Hope to ‘see’ you there!
