For a quick and simple mini album try making a paper bag album. Paper bags offer a great size for a mini album, are very inexpensive, and have a great sound to them when the bag crinkles as you flip through the pages… okay, that last one may be just for me!
I put together this 6 page Love Notes mini album using various papers from SEI Chocolat collection, custom made embellishments (larger size Valentine’s Day bingo cards are available for download in my Etsy shop), scrap paper, ribbon, and various embellishments I had lying around.

Die cut butterfly cut with my Slice on white paper and inked with pink ink. The glitter on the wings was applied with brown Stickles on the under side of the die cute.

5 strips of silver ribbon splayed out on each side of a die cut heart makes a simple and stylish embellishment to a scrapbook page!

A white paper flower inked with brown ink and layered with various punched papers and centered with silver snap with silver Stickle embellishment. Another thin strip of paper makes a simple stem and some lace makes the leaves.

Easy stamped embellishments with Stickle accents. A 3-layered flower also with Stickle accents.

My favorite page of the entire album. A stamped frame that was then cut with a circle cutter. Inked edges, a little silver Stickles, and some ribbon and a flower complete the look. The strip of brown across the page is sequined ribbon.
Back of the album offers a place to sum up the cotents of the album.
Two journaling spots that are tucked into the pockets of the paper bag (between pages 2 & 3 and between after page 6).
I’m still deciding what to do with this album. I’m thinking I give it to a friend as is for a birthday gift. Since it has more of a *love* theme than a Valentine’s theme, it is slightly more universal.
