This is a sponsored post on behalf of FloraCraft®. As always, all project ideas and opinions are my own.
Today’s Christmas project is perfect for decorating mantels, garland, railings, windows… Just about anywhere! I’m going to show you how I made these Fancy Fabric Hanging Ornaments inspired with the Metallic Glam Ornaments in the Holiday E-Book from Make It Fun Crafts! The book is free to download and is full of seriously adorable ideas. I knew I had the perfect supplies on hand to make these little beauties with my own spin. And they don’t take long to make!
Supplies:
FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam balls in assorted sizes
fabric, cut into strips
hot glue gun
brads
ribbon
I chose some fun fancy fabric remnants that I have been hoarding just waiting for the right project for. I love the traditional red and green sequin material paired with the soft faux fur fabric.
1. Hot glue the end of a strip of fabric to what will be the top of the ball. Wrap the fabric around the ball adding more hot glue periodically to keep the fabric in place. If you run out, begin again with a new strip.
2. Wrap all of the balls with fabric.
3. Use a sharp pair of scissors to to pierce a hole in the top of the ornament through the fabric and the ball.
4. Hot glue the ribbon you will be using for hanging the ornaments to the length of a brad. Once dry, place a dab of hot glue where you pierced the hole in the ball then push the brad with the ribbon into the hole and press firmly. Cut the ribbons at varying lengths.
Tie bows to top the ornaments and hot glue them to the back of the brad.
Now you’re ready to hang! I hung mine from the mantel garland so I tied the ends of the ribbons onto ornament hooks. Aren’t they fun and festive?
Doesn’t it look like a big fluffy snowball? I couldn’t be more pleased with how these turned out. I may have to whip up a few more!
Be sure to download your FREE copy of the 2015 Christmas E-Book! There are some really cute ideas in there. I’ll be creating more for sure.

These are so pretty. The fabric scrapes that you chose are just beautiful. And I think your furry ball is adorable.
